Privacy Policy

Myeka Planner ("Myeka", "we", "us") operates myeka.my, a platform for creating digital wedding and event invitation websites for couples and event hosts in Malaysia. You can reach us on WhatsApp at +60 11-1015 2931.

If you sign up to create an invitation with Myeka, we collect:

• Account information: your name and email address, either entered directly or provided by Google when you sign in with your Google account.
• Event details you enter: couple/host names, contact name and phone number, venue and schedule information, and any photos you upload for your invitation.
• Billing details, when you purchase a paid package: name, email, and phone number, which are passed to our payment processor to generate a payment bill. We do not receive or store your card or bank account numbers; these are handled entirely by our payment processor.

When a guest submits an RSVP on an invitation page, we collect:

• Guest name and, optionally, phone number.
• Attendance status and number of guests attending (including a children's headcount, if the host enabled that field).
• Any message or wish the guest chooses to leave, and an answer to a custom question, if the host added one.

We do not collect guest email addresses. Guest RSVP data is visible to the event host in their dashboard, and guest wishes may also be shown publicly on the invitation page if the host has enabled that display option.

We log basic, self-hosted usage analytics to understand how our pages are used, for example page views, button clicks (such as WhatsApp or contact links), device type, and referrer. This data is stored in our own database and is not shared with third-party advertising networks. We do not use Google Analytics or similar third-party trackers.

• To create and operate your invitation website and RSVP page.
• To process payments for paid packages.
• To communicate with you about your account, event, or order.
• To maintain and improve the reliability and usability of Myeka.

We share information with the service providers who help us run Myeka, specifically:

• Supabase: our database, authentication, and file storage provider.
• Vercel: our hosting provider.
• Google: if you choose to sign in with your Google account.
• Our payment processor: to process paid package purchases.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Moving an event to trash keeps its data intact so it can be restored. To request that an event, along with its RSVP and guest message data, be permanently deleted, or to request deletion of your account entirely, contact us on WhatsApp at +60 11-1015 2931 and we'll process the request for you.

You can review and update your event details from your account dashboard at any time. To request a copy of your data, or to have your account or event data deleted, contact us on WhatsApp at +60 11-1015 2931.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
